1. What are the tradeshow & conference dates and times?

2. Where is the tradeshow & conference located?

The registration area is located outside the tradeshow in Exhibit Halls B and C on the Exhibition Level. All seminars are located on the second level of the Convention Centre (2 levels above the Exhibition Level).

3. What is the cost to attend the trade show and/or seminars and what is included?

If you pre-register by the Early Bird Deadline, there is NO COST to walk the trade show floor. If you register after the Early Bird Deadline, the cost to attend the exposition is $25 UNLESS you have a complimentary pass. Complimentary passes circulated by exhibitors may be used for on-site registration or you can use the discount code indicated on the complimentary pass to register online for the exposition at NO COST after the Early Bird Deadline.

Educational seminars are an additional charge and prices are indicated on the seminars page. The cost of seminars includes the entrance fee to the trade show floor.

Everyone who registers for seminars or the tradeshow by the Early Bird Deadline will receive their badge and conference information in the mail prior to the show.

4. Do the seminar prices include tax?

No, tax is separate and is not included in the cost of seminars.

5. Why are there two different prices for all the seminars?

This is to encourage delegates to register early and save money.

6. Is there a student rate?

No. If students register before the Early Bird Registration deadline, they will receive FREE entry into the tradeshow AND discounted rates for the seminars.

7. Can I register by phone?

No. You must register by fax, mail or online.

8. Can I attend more than one seminar?

Yes. We have set the program up so that you may take as many sessions as you like.

9. Will there be food service at BUILDEX?

There will be food and beverage service available at several areas on the exposition floor.

10. How do I pay by cheque?

Simply mail your payment along with a copy of your registration form to the address on the registration form.

11. How do I pay by credit card?

Register online or fax in a copy of your registration with your credit card information, including name, number and expiry.

12. How do I get to BUILDEX?

There is travel information available on the Vancouver Convention Centre website, including parking options and links to public transit information.

13. When can I expect my delegate badge?

If you registered before the Early Bird Deadline, you will receive your badge in the mail approximately one week before the show. All badges are mailed at the same time.

14. What if I pre-registered and I don't receive my badge in the mail?

Don't worry — if you have PRE registered, simply check in at the registration desk. We would be happy to print a badge for you.

15. If I don't pre-register, will there be a charge to attend?

Yes. The on-site charge will be $25 to enter the tradeshow.

16. Can I register for seminars at the door / on-site?

Yes, however you will have to pay the on-site registration fee and a seat for seminars cannot be guaranteed.

17. Can I bring my child?

The BUILDEX tradeshow floor is intended to be a professional Business-to-Business environment so it is highly recommended that children do not attend. In a situation where this is unavoidable, access will be allowed onto the tradeshow floor during show hours but the parent/guardian will be responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior is maintained and any unforeseen damages. No on-site daycare is available. Note: Due to the professional classroom setting, no children are allowed in the seminars.
